Hello!
My name is Valentyna Guzychenko, or Miss Valya for short. This is my sixth year teaching at C.E.S. I taught sixth grade for the first 5 years, and it is my first year teaching grade 5. I hold Bachelor of Arts degree in Linguistics and Sociology from Seattle Pacific University, USA, and Bachelor of Arts in Teaching English and French from Kyiv State Linguistics University, Ukraine. I was born and raised in Ukraine in a family of educators, and I have always enjoyed teaching. I taught English at Kyiv State Linguistics University, Translation Department, and I also taught English to the U.S. Embassy employees in Ukraine. My professional experience includes directing cross-cultural teenage summer camps and organizing team-building and professional development trainings. I love reading and travelling, art projects, law and languages.
