Newspaper Book Report
This book report takes on the format of a newspaper. Use a computer to print your articles, your drawings can be either by hand or printed. Please place the articles and features where you think they fit best. You are to choose a book from the “Novels on Germany“. Create your newspaper on cardboard , “papel cascaron“ or any other resistant material.
You must include the following:
Heading
o (5 pts.) Create a title for your newspaper. It should be related to the book.
Articles
Pretend you are a remarkable journalist when you write these articles. You will be graded on the voice trait of writing for this book report. Voice is you coming through your writing. It is what gives your writing personality, flavor, and style. So as the journalist, you need to make your article have a sound of its own.
You must write 4 articles where you explain different topics covered in your book. Each article must be at least 1 paragraph long. Each paragraph has 6 to 8 sentences. Include images to accompany each article.First paragraph is the Introduction, the next 2-3 paragraphs is the Body, and the fourth paragraph is the Conclusion. In your fourth paragraph you state your opinion about the book and the information you read. What do you find fascinating about your topic? What was confusing? Was the vocabulary difficult or easy to understand? Did the pictures make it easier for you to understand? What would you like to read more about? Were there things you already knew?
Suggestion: Look at a real newspaper and see how articles are included on each page.

Creativity and Presentation
(10 pts.) Be creative! Make your report look like a real newspaper. You can paint the cardboard or cover it with paper. You can have your newspaper displayed on one page, or have it flip open like a book.
Images
(15pts.) An image must be added to represent each of the 3 informative articles. Include a caption that explains your picture (underneath the image add words that tell what the image represents). This needs to be your best work and it needs to be colorful.
